About Us

In grade school, I was widely known to be fashion-obsessed. I would bring magazines to class with the latest style trends, cutting my favorite looks in those pages and creating my own style portfolio. It was my pinterest before Pinterest existed. 

 

My obsession soon attracted the attention of family and friends, and classmates sometimes turned to me for styling advice.

 

Years later when I established Zayytoun, an old classmate reminded me of that time in my life. She reached out remembering when I helped her style her headscarf, and how she often still thinks of me when she puts it on. At Zayytoun, my goal is to allow many other women to feel the same way. Modesty shouldn’t be compromised for fashion, and every piece in Zayytoun’s collection is an example of that. 

 

My ultimate mission as a mother and founder is to create a community by and for women to inspire and grow together.
